Whether they are served warm or cold, for breakfast or dessert you must try these roasted pears. You will never buy tinned pears again.
Ingredients
3 pears
1 tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
680g plain greek yoghurt
180g granola

Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the pears into 8ths removing the core and seeds.
- In a small bowl combine the maple syrup with the cinnamon and vanilla and 2 tbsp of water. Mix well.
- Add the pears to a roasting pan or casserole dish and coat in the syrup mixture.
- Place pears into the oven and bake for 20 minutes, using a spoon to toss occasionally and coat the pears in the syrup.
- Serve the pears warm or cold with the yoghurt and granola.
