Both the Total Care Plan (TCP) and the Income Care range are now closed to new business except for customers exercising continuation options and those entitled to replacement policies.
Existing clients can still increase, decrease, add options and obtain replacement policies (please use this application form - BR144) please refer to the Product Matrix located on the Adviser Portal either under the Online Tools tab or Useful Links section on the right hand side. The Product Matrix will provide you with change rules for;
- death
- terminal illness
- accidental death
- total and permanent disability (TPD)
- trauma (critical illness), and
- income protection
An Application for Replacement Policy can be used instead for situations where a policy may need to be replaced without a requirement for underwriting.
Existing customers will also continue to receive product improvements to ensure they provide ongoing valuable, contemporary protection.
Total Care Plan Super (TCPS) and SMSF Plan is closed to new business.
Existing customers can still increase, decrease, add options, obtain replacement policies and exercise continuation options. They will also continue to receive product improvements to ensure they provide ongoing valuable, contemporary protection.
TCPS clients, as the life insured, are members of AIA Super, a plan in the retail division of the Mercer Super Trust (AIA Super), and the Trustee, Mercer Superannuation Australia Limited (MSAL), owns the policy.
