AIA Australia finalises sale of Superannuation & Investments business

Melbourne, Monday 3 July 2023. Life, health and wellbeing insurer AIA Australia has finalised the sale of its Superannuation & Investments business to Resolution Life Australasia Limited (Resolution Life).

The transaction was first announced in February 2022 and was completed by way of a statutory transfer approved by the Federal Court of Australia, effective 1 July 2023.

AIA Australia’s CEO and Managing Director Damien Mu said the parties have been working closely together to ensure a smooth transition.

“The incredible Superannuation & Investments team has moved across to Resolution Life so customers, partners and stakeholders can expect the same high levels of service and support.”
