AIA Group has established Net zero commitments for 2050 and have an approved Science Based Target of 46.2% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030. We have also published our Climate Transition Plan to support our decarbonisation efforts.

Our organisations have a small direct environmental footprint in Australia, but we’re still working to reduce our footprint.

Our offices
Our offices in Australia are leased and we are working with building owners to transition to LED lighting and water efficient products, purchasing 100% renewable electricity where separately metered and reducing our vehicle fleet substantially. We also run training and education programs with our employees to assist with adopting behaviours both at work and at home that support better environmental outcomes.
