Here at AIA Australia, we are planning some changes in September to bring our vision of a Simpler, Faster, More Connected customer journey. To bring this to life, the focus has been on providing customers with the cover they need and making your ability to service customers Simple, Fast and Connected!
We understand the importance and value of New Business, and we are looking at ways to make it Simpler, Faster, More Connected!
New business pre-assessments: mandatory information
We are introducing a new pre-assessment template that will ensure any requests received contain a set of mandatory information, ultimately meaning minimised administrative follow ups and faster outcomes for pre-assessments.
We understand that pre-assessments are a key function that is used to drive business and conversation, with this new way of working, we are geared at getting you the results you need, every time!
What kind of information will be mandatory for a pre-assessment request?
We will be requiring you to provide general information about your client when requesting a pre-assessment. This can include details such as:
- Date of Birth / Age
- Gender
- Height
- Weight
- Smoker Status
- Occupation (if the purpose of the pre-assessment is to determine occupational category)
- AIA Australia Adviser Code
What happens if the mandatory information is not provided?
We will not be able to process your pre-assessment request and will be asking you to re-submit with the required details. This is to ensure that everything that comes through the pipeline can always be actioned the first time around.
Introducing the data collection form
As part of our Transformation Journey to move to a more digitalised service offering, we are introducing a Data Collection Form.
This is a Simpler & Faster way to collate the information you require for a New Business application, which will allow you to become more Connected with our eApp Express platform in a more intuitive way.
Will paper applications still be accepted for New Business?
Initially being delivered as an alternative to our paper application forms for a transitional period, we will eventually be looking to phase out paper applications completely.
This means that we will accept submissions via both the Data Collection Form and paper application forms for a transitional period whilst you adjust to the new ways of working. As we progress through our journey however, we will eventually no longer accept paper submissions for New Business applications.
Please speak with your Client Development Manager or Associate to find out more about these changes and stay up to date as we take you along our Transformational Journey.
