AIA Australia appoints Grant Jones as new General Counsel

Melbourne, 20 March 2025 - Leading life, health and wellbeing insurer, AIA Australia has confirmed the appointment of Grant Jones as its new General Counsel. An experienced senior lawyer and executive with over 20 years’ experience in legal practice and financial services, Mr. Jones was previously the General Counsel at MLC Life Insurance for almost a decade.
 
Mr. Jones holds commerce and honours law degrees from Macquarie University, with post-graduate qualifications from the Australian National University, and executive education credentials from Harvard Law School. Mr. Jones has previously been recognised as a leading in-house financial services lawyer in the Asia-Pacific region and has led award winning in-house legal teams.
