New Silver Plus Hospital Secure product and updates to Dependant Age and Ambulance Cover extension.
New - Silver Plus Secure Hospital product
Sitting between our Silver Classic and Silver Plus Advantage products, Silver Plus Hospital Secure is an affordable new hospital product that is offered with all AIA Health extras products and includes the following additional benefits:
- Rehabilitation and palliative care
- Sleep studies
- Travel and Accommodation benefit
- An excess of $750
Change to dependant age
From 1 June 2022, any child dependants can remain on their parent's policy until age 25, even if they’re not studying. They must, however, be living at home and not married or in a defacto relationship. If the dependant takes up an equivalent or lesser policy within two months of turning 25, no waiting periods will apply.
Ambulance cover extension
We have extended our ambulance cover to include emergency services which result in onsite treatment only. Customers will now have peace of mind knowing that they are covered for two ambulance callouts per calendar year that don't result in being transported to hospital.
