October 10 marks World Mental Health Day, an international occasion to raise awareness of mental health issues and advocate against social stigma towards those who experience them. While spotlight moments like these are important, the vast topic of mental health cannot be contained to a single calendar day.
Instead, taking a holistic, year-round view of our mental wellbeing by regularly checking in with ourselves, and establishing healthy habits can help us get on top of our mental health before it impacts our wellbeing.
