New Simpler Review for Exclusions and Non-Medical Loadings

To better support our customers who may be in a position to review an existing exclusion or non-medical loading, we have simplified our processes to allow for a simpler review where possible.

What changes have we made?

  • Previously any loading or exclusion review would require completion of the full "Increases and Additions" form in every case.

  • A more pragmatic approach is now being taken for the following loadings and exclusions which can now be reviewed with completion of the much shorter "Application to Review Exclusions and Non-Medical Loadings".

    • Travel Loadings and Exclusions
    • Pastimes Loadings and Exclusions
    • Territorial Loadings and Exclusions
    • Residency Loadings and Exclusions
    • Back/Neck/Spine exclusions
    • Joint/Musculoskeletal exclusions

  • The "Application to Review Exclusions and Non-Medical Loadings" has been designed to capture any areas of risk specifically associated with the loaded or excluded condition – meaning a lot less information and effort required and a quicker review!
    • e.g. for a travel or residency exclusion review, we will only ask two underwriting questions.
